FIRST HOUSING NAMED
SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR

First Housing was named Small Business of the Year in the 21-50 Employee Category. This year represented the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce's 28th annual Small Business of the Year Awards. The businesses who participated in the process were judged in several categories including operational management, business goals and planning, innovation, community involvement and ethical business practices. An independent panel of judges oversaw the process in three stages - applications, interviews and site visits. There were three award categories for small business (5-20 employees, 21-50 employees, and 21-250 employees), in addition to an Outstanding Leader of the Year Award.
